The Urban Market returns just in time of summer!
Starting Wednesday, June 12, residents can purchase produce, meats, baked goods and homemade items made right here in Wood Buffalo.
The seventh season of the market opens from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. every Wednesday until the end of August.
What’s new
New for 2019 is themed weekly markets.
Mike Jones, committee member and afternoon host for Country 93.3, can’t wait to see what the Urban Market has in store.
“You never know what you’re going to find! Plus, who doesn’t love picking up some great healthy fresh food and enjoying some live entertainment at the same time?”
Planned for this summer include the arts, sports, and kids-themed markets.
Look forward to a shop-tastic market experience on July 24, 2019, as the Urban Market partners with the Fort McMurray Food Festival’s YMM Street Party.
