Home sales continue to increase across the region, sale price declines

Fort McMurray REALTORS® has reported that home sales across the region continue to increase year-over-year.

The number of sales of single family detached homes, townhouses and condos have increased up to 46.15 per cent.

The average sale price of single family detached homes down 2.93 per cent and the number of sales has increased from 49 in May 2018 to 59 in 2019.

Meanwhile, sales of mobile with land properties and vacant lots have decreased, along with the number of active listings.

Those looking for a vacant lot are looking at an average price increase of 56.21 per cent, or average sale price of $148,333.

As of June 13, there are 709 active listings in the region, compared to 663 this time last year.
