Condo sales increase, while all other property types decrease

Fort McMurray REALTORS® has reported a decrease in sales for the month of June compared to last year.

Single family detached homes, duplexes and townhouses have all seen a decrease in the number of sales and average sale price, while the number of active listings has increased up to 20.59 per cent.

Condo sales on the other hand are up 62.5 per cent with an average sale price of $140,550.

Sales of mobile with land and vacant lots are down by 33.33 and 58.33 per cent respectively.

While the sale price of a vacant lot is up 33.56 per cent at $129,500 compared to $96,958 last June.

REALTORS® has also reported an increase of listings of nearly 7 per cent, from 644 to 687 currently on the market.

The average sale price of a single family home is down 7.78 per cent to $532,159.
