The Freedom Conservative Party (FCP)is heading to Conklin to discuss the rural crime epidemic in the province.

FCP Interim Leader, David White said in a statement that it’s critical to hear from those directly involved in the situation.

“We said we would be a legitimate voice of opposition for Alberta, holding the Government to account, and being there for hard working Albertans. This is just one of the many ways we are honouring our word.”

The statement also said that holding a town hall is part of finding “real world solutions.”

The town hall will be at the Conklin Multi-Plex on July 28 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
