Wheat for Sept. rose 1.75 cents at 4.9950 a bushel; Sept. corn was off 5.5 cents at 4.1850 a bushel, Sept. oats fell 1.25 cents at $2.6350 a bushel; while Aug. soybeans lost 8.5 cents at $8.8250 a bushel.
Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Aug. live cattle was off .25 cent at $1.0865 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle fell .02 cent at $1.4280 a pound; while Aug. lean hogs lost .60 cent at $.8595 a pound.
