The Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce announced they’re accepting nominations for the 2019 business awards program.
The Business Awards Celebration, presented by ATB Financial, Stringam, and MNP, will take place Thursday, October 24, 2019, at the Keyano Theatre and Arts Centre.
President of the Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce, Bryce Kumka, said local business impacts the region in a positive way.
“We’re very excited to once again be giving local businesses the recognition they deserve for their hard work in our region.”
Also, he added they will accept nominations for eight categories:
- Business of the Year – Over 20 Employees
- Business of the Year – Under 20 Employees
- Environment & Sustainability
- Female Leadership
- Indigenous Business
- People’s Choice
- Startup
- Youth Entrepreneur

The deadline for nominations is August 30, 2019.
