Fort McMurray REALTORS® has reported a slight decrease in home sales in August compared to the same period last year.
The average sale price for single family homes and townhouses have decreased 12.91 per cent and 2.38 per cent respectively.
Single family homes are down from $574,594 to $500,397.
All other property types have increased in sale price, with duplexes and condos selling at upwards of 20 per cent year over year.
Condos also saw a 75 per cent increase in total number of sales.
The report shows 693 active listings on the market, up slightly from last August’s 635.
