The portal that allows residents to have your say on the downtown will soon end.

The only survey on downtown revitalization closes on Sept. 30, 2019.

The Municipality thanks residents for sharing their ideas and feedback on this community-driven matter.

Since June 20, participants completed 1200 surveys on the Municipality’s website.

Also, the RMWB staged 24 public engagement sessions and more than 100 face-to-face meetings with individuals, stakeholders, and community groups.

Next phase

There is still time to apply for the Downtown Revitalization Advisory Committee and the Waterfront Advisory Committee.

Share insight and opinions, and help influence the region’s key decision-makers.

Previous experience in steering groups, though not a requirement, is an asset.

Also, the Municipality encourages representatives from Indigenous, Seniors, and Education sectors to apply.

The deadline to submit applications is October 4, 2019.
