Wood Buffalo RCMP arrested a 22-year-old man on multiple drug-related charges.
On Sept. 25, 2019, their Drug Section executed a search warrant of a residence on Sandpiper Road in Eagle Ridge.
RCMP seized 106 grams of the suspected mushroom called psilocybin, and 154 grams of suspected cannabis along with over $3500.
Police arrested and charged Husaam Ahmed Maawia faces with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime under $5000, and possession of cannabis for the purpose of selling.
They also charged Maawia with the unlawful transport of cannabis in a vehicle.
Maawia is due in court on Oct. 22, 2019.
