Fort McMurray-Cold Lake Votes

Last Updated Oct 18, 2019 at 2:48 pm MDT

Monday, Oct. 21, 2019, is federal election day.

If you’re looking to cast your ballot, you can do so between 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Spokesperson with Elections Canada, Leanne Nyirfa, said in order to vote you need to have government issued ID, or two other pieces of ID.

“You can bring two other pieces of ID that are accepted by Elections Canada. Both of these need to have your name and one must have your address. So, for example you can bring a health card and a utility bill statement or your credit card and a credit card statement.”

She said a third option is to bring someone you know who is registered to vote at the same location and they can “vouch for you.”

Unlike the provincial election, Nyirfa said you’ll will need to go to the location listed on your voter card.

The following people are representing the Fort McMurray-Cold Lake riding:
