A two-day blitz by Wood Buffalo RCMP led to the recovery of stolen vehicles in rural communities.
Police also arrested four suspects in conjunction with the vehicular thefts.
Between Oct. 17-18, 2019, Wood Buffalo RCMP conducted the search with Police Dog Services, RCMP Air Services, and the communities of Conklin and Janvier.
Along with assistance from Lac La Biche RCMP, they found two stolen vehicles and three stolen off-road vehicles.
Wood Buffalo RCMP reported they will continue to investigate these crimes as vehicular theft plagues the region.
