Wood Buffalo Communities In Bloom kicked off a pair of winter contests just in time for the holidays!
“Nominate Your Neighbour and the Business Beautification Program are great ways to showcase homeowners and business owners, as they go above and beyond to bring some holiday cheer to their neighbourhoods,” said Joanne Fisher, member of the Wood Buffalo Communities in Bloom Committee.
Nominate Your Neighbour awards homes in the community that deck the halls or neighbourhoods with light displays and festive decorations.
Submit nominations for Santa’s ‘Nice Homes List’ by Dec. 15, 2019, on the Municipality’s website.
Meanwhile, local businesses can get into the holiday spirit and spread Christmas cheer in time for the Santa Claus Parade on Dec. 7.
Register for the holiday edition of the Business Beautification Program online also by Dec. 15, when an online vote shall determine a winner in the new year.
