Wood Buffalo RCMP located and recovered many stolen, abandoned or damaged vehicles in the municipality.
Police conducted a search on Oct. 23, 2019, and found 33 abandoned and burned vehicles.
Alberta Environment and Parks also assisted the Auto Theft and Crime Reduction Units in their investigation.
These groups continue to collaborate to recover stolen property.
Furthermore, RCMP greatly values public assistance in locating these vehicles and reporting property crime.
