RCMP looking for suspect in downtown robbery

The incident took place on Monday, Nov. 18, around 9:30 p.m. at a business near the corner of Franklin Avenue and Riedel Street when the male suspect entered the business allegedly holding a knife.

Wood Buffalo are asking the public for help to identify a man involved in a downtown robbery.

The incident took place on Monday, Nov. 18, 2019 at a business near the corner of Franklin Avenue and Riedel Street.

Around 9:30 p.m., the man entered the business holding what appeared to be a purple knife and stole over $200 worth of goods before he fled on foot from the scene.

He is described as Caucasian, wearing dark pants, a dark jacket with a light sweater under and black and white sneakers.
