The Municipality recommends 4×4 vehicles with high ground clearance.
Crews continue to work along the trail, so obey all posted signage and watch for workers and equipment.
Drivers should also reduce speed and drive accordingly when travelling east of the Christina River as there are rough patches.
There are no regular services like road patrol, gas stations or cell phone coverage, so prepare for emergencies.
