Join local industry, social profits, and other leaders in the public and private sectors for ConvergenceYMM 2020.

FuseSocial said the event gives professionals a chance to discuss current and future barriers and opportunities, and potentially spark some collaborations in Wood Buffalo.

The meeting on March 26, 2020, is the fifth such meeting since it started in 2013.

Chantal Beaver, Co-Chair of the ConvergenceYMM Advisory Team, said the theme for this year’s discussions is “Better Together”.

“This event is a way to bring together different groups to support one another in a ‘big picture’ mindset. When we work collaboratively, our community as a whole is positively impacted.”

The event includes dinner, a keynote address by Blyth Butler, as well as a “State of the Sector” panel featuring leaders from various local sectors.

ConvergenceYMM will also release the results from the 2019 Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo Community Index of Wellbeing (CIW).

This national index lists what makes residents in our region happy, healthy, and fulfilled.

The meeting takes place on March 26, 2020, at the Suncor Energy Centre for the Performing Arts.

Purchase tickets on the ConvergenceYMM web page on MacCalendar.
