TimeraiserYMM returns to Wood Buffalo supporting the artistic community and social profit sector.

FuseSocial is on the hunt for artwork to purchase from local and emerging artists at fair market value, which would help inspire participants in the ninth edition of the event.

A selection committee from the Wood Buffalo Art and Social Profit Community will select artwork for the silent auction.

New this year, the committee will consider 2D and 3D submissions.

They will also accept proposals for performance art, culinary arts, decorative arts, and art services among others.

More information on art criteria and procedures is available on the TimeraiserYMM website.

The deadline for submissions is Feb. 29, 2020, at 4:30 p.m. and there is no submission fee.

Silent auction

TimeraiserYMM encourages participants to donate their energy and volunteer time to agencies in our community.

Successful bidders have approximately 12 months to complete their pledges.

The auction sold more than 45 pieces of art in the adult and emerging artist categories last year.

As a result, artwork purchases amounted to $20,000 for the Wood Buffalo Art Community with the artwork raising at least 2100 volunteer hours.

The hours equated to more than $52,000 worth of labour for Wood Buffalo’s social profit sector.

TimeraiserYMM takes place on April 23, 2020.
