Police ask for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a robbery.
Just after 4:00 p.m. on Feb. 29, 2020, Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to the scene of a potential armed robbery at a business in Thickwood.
According to the police report, the suspect threatened to use a firearm before obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect fled the scene on foot.
RCMP describe the suspect as a male, Caucasian, five feet and six inches, between 30-40 years old, and wearing a goatee.
He wore a black hat, black zip-up jacket with an emblem on the left breast pocket, blue jeans, and white shoes with green fluorescent laces.
