A 31-year-old woman from Fort McMurray is one of four arrested by police just south of Edmonton.

Teryl Lisa Burk faces 11 offences ranging from fraudulent concealment, theft, and unauthorized possession of a firearm.

On March 10, 2020, at 9:20 a.m., a Leduc RCMP officer noticed an unmarked vehicle driving through hotel parking lots.

Further investigation of the newer model black Dodge Ram revealed a report of its theft from B.C. two weeks prior.

The officer requested backup and followed the vehicle.

The officer then saw Burk exit the vehicle, enter a delivery truck, and remove personal items belonging to its driver.

Joined by other members of Leduc RCMP, the police waited for the vehicle to park and arrested Burk and the other occupants without incident.

A search of the stolen vehicle revealed a 22 calibre rifle, ammunition, drug paraphernalia, and tools for break and entry.

Police also found numerous stolen identification cards, mail, and personal effects.

RCMP charged Burk with 11 offences including fraudulent concealment, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, and obstruction of a peace officer.

She remains in custody and will appear Leduc Provincial Court on March 19, 2020.

Police also arrested 34-year-old Dylan Michael Johnson of no fixed address, 26-year-old Li Fu Ni of Richmond, B.C., and 35-year-old Andre Vromans of Edmonton.

They face a total of 30 charges and will appear in court on March 26, 2020.
