The Wood Buffalo Food Bank (WBFB) announced they would postpone its Servus Spring Food Drive.
Due to growing health concerns, Communications Manager Anna Noble said a large fundraiser at this time is not beneficial.
She added the WBFB will monitor the situation and announce a new date at a later time.
The postponement will affect their facility and the residents who rely on donations this upcoming season.
Residents may drop-off donations at their King Street office or at all local grocery store bins to help bridge the gap.
