Police arrested four people from Conklin on several trafficking and weapons-related offences.
On March 16, 2020, Wood Buffalo RCMP visited a rural property in the rural hamlet to execute a search warrant.
Wood Buffalo Crime Reduction Unit, RCMP Police Dog Services, and “K” Division’s Emergency Response Team attended the scene.
RCMP arrested three men and one woman from Conklin as a result of the search.
40-year-old Kirk Randle Paul Reid, 50-year-old Darren Glen Bone, 25-year-old Ryan Gilbert Oar, and 28-year-old Jessica Adby face 78 total charges.
Charges range from possession for the purpose of trafficking to numerous firearm and weapons-related offences.
Fort McMurray Provincial Court scheduled a judicial hearing for the accused on May 26, 2020.
