Municipality to host virtual townhall on COVID19 response

The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo will be hosting a virtual townhall on March 25 at 6:15 p.m. to provide an update on their response to the COVID-19.

Mayor Don Scott and Regional Director of Emergency Management, Scott Davis will be making remarks and taking questions along with the Interim Chief Administrative Office, Jamie Doyle and a representative from the Alberta Emergency Management Agency.

Some people will also receive an automated phone call notifying them of the event a day prior and at the start of the meeting asking them to stay on the line to join in on the conversation.

Those who tune into the live stream will have the ability to ask questions by typing into a field. The on-call participants must press *3 to ask their questions.
