The Government of Alberta is now accepting applications for emergency isolation support.

Last week, the UCP government announced $50 million in aid to those needing to self-isolate and be away from work because of COVID-19.

Eligible Albertans can receive a one-time payment of just over $1,100.

This money is meant to bridge the gap until funding from the federal government’s aid package is made available.

You can now apply through My Alberta if you are self-isolating or the sole caregiver for someone who is and you have no other source of income.

Those who require assistance with the application can call the Service Alberta Contact Centre at 310-4455 or online.
