Alberta reports third COVID-19 death, 40 more cases

There are 661 cases of COVID-19 in Alberta and 6,246 across the country with 61 deaths.

The total number of cases of Covid-19 in Alberta has climbed to 661 as the province announced its third death to the disease on Sunday, March 29.

There have been 41 hospitalizations, with 14 admissions to intensive care units.

Up to 60 of the 661 cases may be due to community transmission.

There are now a total of 73 confirmed recovered cases and 44,999 tests completed.

Across the country there are 6,243 cases and 61 deaths.
