A new interim Executive Director shall lead United Way Fort McMurray and Wood Buffalo next month.
The non-profit’s Board of Directors appointed Andrea Hine to the role, effective immediately.
Hine served on the Board of Directors for several years and as Chair of the Community Investment Committee.
Board President Steve Yatauro said Hine’s direct experience with the United Way’s agencies allows her to provide support right away during these times.
“This will significantly strengthen our ability to respond appropriately to the changing needs of our community and agencies. We would like to thank Suncor for making Andrea available on secondment.”
Hine is an Operations Advisor with Suncor Energy.
