Fort McMurray’s only after-hours clinic will stay open late for residents and their families.
In light of the COVID-19 crisis, the Wood Buffalo Primary Care Network (PCN) released their new temporary schedule.
Pleased to see @WoodBuffaloPCN was able to offer after hour care beyond March 31,2020. Thank you to the board members of WBPCN that I chatted with for the productive discussion. @shandro @RMWoodBuffalo @UCPCaucus #ymm #rmwb pic.twitter.com/ox8tr7oyro

On March 4, the PCN said it would close the clinic due to newly proposed healthcare rules by the province.
Located in Stoneycreek, the clinic will have the following hours, beginning March 31.
- Monday to Friday: 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Sunday: 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The hours are temporary as discussions between Alberta’s Health Ministry and the Alberta Medical Association continue.
