UPDATE: Alberta exceeds 1,000 cases of COVID-19

The Alberta government announced 107 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number to 1,075.

No new cases have been reported for the region.

There are 196 resolved cases in the province.

Of the new cases reported, two are in the North Zone for a total of 57 cases.

Premier Jason Kenney also reported five deaths, bringing the provincial death toll to 18.
