UPDATE: Province reports two recoveries from COVID-19 in RMWB

The Alberta government updated its website covering COVID-19 cases

There are six total cases in the RMWB.

The province said two of the four active cases in Fort McMurray are resolved.

To date, there are 361 recoveries in Alberta.

The two cases in Wood Buffalo remain active.

It also reported 98 additional cases of the virus to bring the total to 1348, including one additional death from the Calgary zone.

The number of Albertans who died from the virus is 24.

Dr Deena Hinshaw, chief medical officer of health, said she suspects 204 cases were from community transmission.

Programmers updated the provincial website to provide clarity on COVID-19 cases in Alberta.

They list total cases, including active cases, recoveries, and deaths.

89 cases are in the North Zone, which amounts to seven per cent of the 1348 total cases in the province.
