Police investigating downtown break and enter

Police ask for the public’s assistance as they investigate a break and enter of a business in downtown Fort McMurray.

On the morning of April 5, 2020, a resident contacted Wood Buffalo RCMP about damage to the front window of a business near Fraser Avenue and Marshall Street.

The investigation by the Wood Buffalo Forensic Identification Section is ongoing.

Police ask anyone with surveillance or dash-camera footage recorded between April 4 at 9:00 p.m. and April 5 at 9:00 a.m. to come forward.

RCMP expressed interest in the area between King Street, Franklin Avenue, Gordon Avenue, and Prairie Loop Blvd.
