823 COVID-19 recoveries in Alberta with 77,316 tests completed

Alberta is reporting 82 more cases of COVID-19 bringing the total to 1,651 in the province.

The majority of cases, 1046, are in the Calgary zone, 395 are in the Edmonton zone, 72 are in the central zone, 31 are in the south zone and 103 are in the north zone with 4 in an unknown area.

Of these cases, there are 44 people in hospital, 14 of which are in intensive care units.

The province is also reporting four more deaths bringing the death toll to 44.

There have now been 823 recoveries and 77,316 tests completed.

Across the country there are 23,784 cases with 718 deaths.
