Alberta reports four active cases in Fort McMurray, one new

Alberta is reporting another active case of COVID-19 in Fort McMurray, bringing the total active cases in the Urban Service Area to four.

There are no new active cases in the surrounding rural areas.

Province-wide there are 241 new cases, bringing the total to 2,803.

The province-is also reporting four more deaths since Saturday, bringing the total to 55.

There are 1,198 recoveries.

The following is a breakdown of cases by zone:

  • 1,997 cases in the Calgary zone
  • 429 cases in the Edmonton zone
  • 137 cases in the North zone
  • 76 cases in the Central zone
  • 142 cases in the South zone
  • 22 cases in zones yet to be confirmed
