Mental Health Week is coming up May 4 to 10, and this year’s theme is social connection.

In order to promote online community connection, the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Wood Buffalo will be hosting various virtual events.

On Thursday, May 7, CMHA Wood Buffalo will host a session to discuss the struggles parents may be faced with trying to raise children.

The two-hour drop in will also discuss coping skills to keep emotions in check and allow parents and caregivers to connect with others who may be feeling the same struggle.

This session will run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. via zoom.

There will also be a virtual space to socially connect and check in with our mental health as a community.

These sessions, which will run daily from May 4 to 8, will not have a course outline or agenda.

You can join the sessions via zoom.
