Alberta reported one additional case of COVID-19 in the RMWB.
All 10 active cases of the virus are in the urban service area.
Four earlier cases in the urban service area recovered along with two other cases from the region’s rural areas.

Syncrude also said two confirmed yet unrelated cases, an employee and contract worker, have ties to the organization.

In the North Zone, there are 165 cases or four per cent of the provincial total.
The Alberta government reports 297 new cases of COVID-19 in the province, bringing the total to 4017.
It believes 350 cases are from community transmission.
1397 cases recovered from the virus, an increase of 40 from yesterday.
Dr Deena Hinshaw, chief medical officer of health, also reported five additional deaths from the virus.
This brings that total to 72.
Long-term care facilities observed 399 confirmed cases, including 47 deaths.
Hinshaw expanded on comments made yesterday with regards to the ban on mass gatherings through the summer.
She understands the frustrations of many Albertans but added the risk of spread at such gatherings is too great.
Hinshaw also addressed sporting events at the press conference.
She said it’s too early to speak on events like resuming NHL play.
Hinshaw doesn’t say NO to NHL hockey.
Hinshaw says as we look at re-launch and easing restrictions, says she would look at the NHL option as a possibility, but adds that it’s too early.

Premier Kenney previously said talks are ongoing between the province and the NHL about playing games in Edmonton.
Alberta Health tested 116,859 people for COVID-19 and completed 122,447 tests.
