As the municipality prepares for flood clean-up, it has waived landfill fees.
Residential and commercial waste can be dropped off until further notice.
The municipality has also introduced a three bin curbside waste program for residential homeowners in flood affected areas.
Food and household waste is to be bagged and placed into the two blue, or black curbside bins.
Bins will be collected twice a day on:
- Saturday, May 2
- Sunday, May 3
- Monday, May 4
Regular curbside collection will continue on Monday.
