The Alberta government reported no new cases of COVID-19 in the RMWB for the tenth straight day.

The urban service area has three active cases and 19 recoveries, while two recoveries are elsewhere in the RMWB.

Alberta reported 47 new cases in the province to bring the number of active cases to 1524.

The province also reported two additional deaths to bring the death toll to 117.

Alberta ruled two prior deaths were unrelated to COVID-19, so the total remains 117.

Alberta’s COVID-19 hospitalization rates remain low with 73 people currently in hospital, 12 of whom are in intensive care.

In total, there are 6300 total cases in the province, including 4659 recoveries.

To date, Alberta completed 188,157 tests.
