Alberta reported 57 new cases of COVID-19 on May 17, bringing the number of total active cases to 1,064.
In total, 5,453 Albertans have recovered from COVID-19.
There is one active case in the Fort McMurray Urban Service Area and 22 recoveries.
Elsewhere in the RMWB there is one active case and three recoveries.
The province also reported an additional death to bring the death toll to 127.
Hospitalization rates remain low with 57 people currently in hospital, nine of whom are in intensive care.
In the last 24 hours, 3,761 tests have been completed with 196,309 people being tested in total.
