42 new cases, no new deaths from COVID-19 in Alberta

The Alberta government reported 42 new cases of COVID-19 in the province, bringing the number of total cases to 6860.

No Albertans passed away from the virus in the last 24 hours.

The death toll in the province remains 135.

There are 801 active cases in the province and 5924 recovered cases.

There are no new cases of COVID-19 in the municipality, but there are still two active cases.

There is one active case in Fort McMurray and another outside the urban service area, 23 people have recovered in the region.

To date, health officials tested 216,168 Albertans for COVID-19.
