They received assistance from the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team (ALERT) and the Wood Buffalo Crime Reduction Unit (CRU).

The search resulted in the seizure of evidence of drug trafficking, drug paraphernalia, ammunition, and pellet guns.

RCMP charged Morice with possession for the purposes of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.

He also faces charges of careless storage of ammunition and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

The courts released Morice following a custody hearing, and he is next due in Fort McMurray Provincial Court on May 26 at 1:30 p.m.
