COVID-19 continues trending downward in Alberta

Alberta reported no new cases or recoveries from COVID-19 in Wood Buffalo.

Fort McMurray has four active cases and 21 recovered cases, while outside the urban service area all three cases recovered.

The province reported 15 new cases of COVID-19 and one additional death from the illness, to bring the death toll to 146.

Calgary Zone reported the death along with 11 new cases.

Alberta has 334 active cases and 6611 recovered cases.

48 Albertans are in hospital, including six in intensive care.

To date, health officials tested 248,423 Albertans.

Chief medical officer of health, Dr Deena Hinshaw will provide an update on COVID-19 response on June 5, 2020.
