One more recovery from COVID-19 in Fort McMurray

Alberta reported no new cases of COVID-19 in Wood Buffalo.

The province also announced one additional recovery from the virus in Fort McMurray.

The urban service area now has three active and 19 recovered cases.

All three cases in the rural service areas of the RMWB recovered from the virus.

The province reported 27 new cases of COVID-19 in Alberta over the last 24 hours.

There were also two additional deaths linked to the virus, increasing the death toll in the province to 151 deaths.

Alberta has 356 active cases, and 6722 recovered cases for a total of 7229.

46 Albertans are currently undergoing hospitalization with six in intensive care.

Dr Deena Hinshaw, chief medical officer of health, will provide a bi-daily report on Alberta’s COVID-19 response on June 10.
