Fort McMurray sees two more COVID-19 cases
The Alberta government reported two new cases of COVID-19 in Wood Buffalo.
Fort McMurray now has five active and 19 recovered cases.
All three cases outside the urban service area recovered from the virus.

McDonald’s Canada confirmed on June 9 it had ties to an employee at its restaurant on Franklin Ave who tested positive for COVID-19.
The restaurant reopened after thorough cleaning and sanitization.

The province reported 47 new cases of COVID-19 in Alberta over the last 24 hours, but no additional deaths.

Alberta has 371 active cases, 151 deaths, and 6754 recovered cases for a total of 7276.
42 Albertans are undergoing hospitalization with six in intensive care.
Dr Deena Hinshaw, chief medical officer of health said 310,000 tests, including 6582 tests in the last 24 hours.
She encouraged all asymptomatic Albertans to download the AB Trace Together app.

She also announced an outbreak at an Edmonton-area hospital impacting four medical staff.
Hinshaw said the outbreak did not impact patients.
