Sharp increase in new COVID-19 cases in RMWB

Alberta confirmed the RMWB has four new cases of COVID-19.

That is the highest single-day report in more than a month for Wood Buffalo.

Fort McMurray has six active cases along with 21 recoveries.

All three cases outside the urban service area recovered.

Alberta reported 37 new cases of COVID-19 and one additional death.

Alberta has 403 active cases, including 44 in hospital with six in intensive care, and 150 deaths.

6830 Albertans recovered from the virus so far.
