Community members with large or heavy items for disposal may soon kick those items to the curb.

The Municipality announced the heavy item pickup program returns June 22.

Residents may register up to four large items per household for curbside pickup.

The RMWB will accept couches and sofas, chairs and loveseats, mattresses and box springs, dressers, and office and computer desks.

Other items include treadmills, stoves, dishwashers, washers and dryers, and large televisions with 24-inch tubes or 27 inches and larger.

Crews will also accept kitchen appliances such as refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen and dining room tables.

Residents may register beginning at 8:00 a.m. on June 22 to June 30 at 4:00 p.m. on the Municipality’s website or on the Pulse line at (780) 743-7000.

Once registered, they will receive a pickup date between July 6-13.

There is a limit on space, and residents must stow their items curbside on their designated day by 8:00 a.m.

Commerical and construction-related materials are not permitted.
