Starting July 1, curbside collection in Dickinsfield will move to Thursdays.

The neighbourhood’s first collection day, after the change, will be July 2, 2020.

RMWB Solid Waste Services announced 19 fully-automated collection trucks will replace its semi-automated fleet.

Thanks to this addition and the need to redistribute workload throughout the week, the RMWB made the scheduling change.

The recycling program remains on hold for the Municipality due to COVID-19 pandemic until further notice.

Solid Waste Services said a plan is in development to resume this service.

Crews ask residents to stow their mixed garbage and recycling in their two bins on their collection day.

They also ask for yard waste to go inside dark blue containers.

Updates on service are available on the Municipality’s website.
