Hospitalization rates for COVID-19 remain low in Alberta

There are no new active cases of COVID-19 in the municipality.

As of June 22, there are 11 cases each in Fort McMurray and outside the urban service area.

Alberta reported two new cases of COVID-19 in the RMWB in yesterday’s report.

25 cases in Wood Buffalo recovered from COVID-19, including 22 within Fort McMurray.

Across the province, there are 32 new cases and one additional death of the illness.

There are 542 active cases of COVID-19 with 32 Albertans in hospital, including six in intensive care.

To date, 7041 Albertans recovered from COVID-19.

Alberta scheduled Dr Deena Hinshaw, chief medical officer of health, to provide the bi-daily update, but the information is available on the province’s website.

Health officials conducted a total of 396,300 tests.
