Over the summer, the Mayor’s Advisory Council on Youth (MACOY) is on the lookout for new recruits for 2020-21.

Young people in grades seven to 12 with a desire for active engagement in the community may apply.

Nicole Martyn-Dickinson, Social Program Advisor with Neighbourhood and Community Development, said the RMWB wants to hear from young people on important matters.

“The youth in our region are bright, energetic, and bring a unique perspective to the issues and opportunities we face as a community.”

Members of MACOY attend monthly meetings and participate in many community events during the school year.
