Weekend report reveals nine new COVID-19 cases in Wood Buffalo

Alberta reported nine new cases of COVID-19 in the RMWB.

All nine are outside the urban service area, which has 19 active cases and 15 recoveries.

Over the weekend, one recovered case entered Fort McMurray, which has 17 active cases and 38 recovered cases of the illness.

Across the province, there are 607 active cases, 155 deaths, and 7627 resolved cases of COVID-19.

From July 3-5, 2020, there were 130 new cases of the virus, no deaths, and 95 recoveries.

57 Albertans are in hospital with six in intensive care.
