Keyano College announced the cancellation of this year’s Golf Classic.
The post-secondary institution made the decision due to ongoing restrictions tied to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It also cited the College’s focus on restoring flood-damaged buildings on its Clearwater Campus.
“While we look forward to this annual fundraiser in support of our students, the safety of all participants, volunteers, students, and staff is our top priority. Instead, the Golf Classic will take place on June 5, 2021 at the Fort McMurray Golf Club.”
Keyano thanked sponsors, partners, and the Fort McMurray Golf Club for their support and said it looks forward to next year’s event.
