Fort McMurray adds three recovered COVID-19 cases

Alberta said Fort McMurray has three additional recovered cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

There were no new cases of the virus across the RMWB for the second straight day.

In the last three days, the region counted 19 recoveries of the illness.

Fort McMurray has four active cases of the illness, but 52 residents recovered.

Numbers outside the urban service area remain unchanged with 13 active and 25 recovered cases of COVID-19.

Alberta has 592 active cases of COVID-19 with 50 Albertans in hospital, and nine in intensive care.

Health officials changed the death toll from COVID-19 to 160 from yesterday’s 161.

This occurs when new information reveals an Albertan did not pass away from the illness.

7844 Albertans recovered, which an increase of 70 from yesterday’s report.

Alberta Health completed 7801 tests in the last 24 hours.
