This year’s Zombie Run in support of Girls Inc. of Northern Alberta is going virtual.
The non-profit is celebrating 41 years in the region, so it’s encouraging you to run, walk, jog, bike or swim 41 km through the month of August.
Communications and Development Lead Jenna Hamilton said the event is kid-friendly.
“We’re encouraging people to do it as families to get their kids moving, and you can do it anywhere.”
Hamilton added that the funding raised will allow Girls Inc. to be more flexible.
“It will go towards programming, purchasing craft materials and snacks for our participants and other necessities as the year progresses.”
The registration fee is $20 through Eventbrite and participants are encouraged to collect pledges.
